Bonfilet is a leader company specialized in packed red meat manufacture, with a large variety of products both for household and mass consumption. Bonfilet’s experience and knowledge depends on the historical origins since 1950’s.

Since its foundation Bonfilet believed that the red meat market in our country would be able to develop with packed meat manufacturing and branding. By means of this conviction, the company has carried the confidence of branding to meat and packed the carcass meat and vacuumed it and correspondingly used MAP technology for packaging.

Bonfilet has been dominating in every stage of meat production from the manufacturing to the dinner table and has been practicing all potentials of advanced technology for the good of human health. Bonfilet products are manufactured regarding an innovative company policy that indicates no compromises at the international quality standards, taste, and health and hygiene conditions.

Bonfilet comes forward with Bonet brand in retail consumption. The company also produces private labeled products for leading food and super market chains.

Bonfilet’s history begins at the 1950’s when Akkoyun family was retailing meat at the local markets. The family moves on to İstanbul market in 1958 by retailing livestock. Subsequently Bonfilet has been founded by Mustafa Akkoyun as a small family business under the name of “Akkoyun Meat Co.” in 1970. The company has incorporated as “Bonfilet Et Taahhüdü ve Tic. Ltd. Şti.” in 1988.

Ever since Bonfilet aims to create brands in the meat sector and has achieved several principal accomplishments in Turkey.

Bonfilet gravitated to progress new products in 1999 and with the release of the frozen meatball product the company started dealership organizations. In 2003, Bonfilet has comprehended the necessity for a reliable retail product in the market and has decided to generate the first packed meat brand in Turkey, “Bonet”.

Bonfilet has started the construction of an additional factory in Gürpınar-Beylikdüzü in 2007 in order to reach future objectives in a more efficient and quicker system. The company has taken the name “Bonfilet Et Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.” in 2010. Bonfilet purposes to activate the new factory in 2011 and comes in a very immediate developing period.
